Description
Villa Cangarela is a complex of two classic Istrian houses over 200 years old, we named them Villa 117 and Villa 119. Both buildings are connected by door on the courtyard side and thus form a whole that we offer to our guests.
The building of Villa 117 has been completely renovated, but all dimensions of the old building have been preserved. Thanks to this reconstruction, guests can fully enjoy all the benefits of a modernly equipped house. During the restoration, several interesting stone artifacts were found that have been preserved and returned to the building.
Guests have at their disposal a heated saltwater pool, next to it a comfortable beach, sunbathing area with solar shower. In the yard is a large shady canopy and barbecue. On the ground floor there is an old stone arch under which you can rest in a comfortable armchair with a glass of excellent Istrian wine. In the house, there is a room with a library to relax from everyday stress. There is a playroom in the attic for the youngest guests. One of the bedrooms has access to a large sun terrace.
The building of Villa 119 has been completely renovated and adapted to the needs of modern living. The aim of the reconstruction was to preserve the beauty of the house, show its history and development, and finally give our guests all the necessary comfort that a modern man needs and seeks.
The former water cistern has been converted into a sauna, and a whirlpool is located in the
courtyard. Of course, there is also the obligatory barbecue and nice shade under the canopy. Guests can enjoy the wine cellar or spend time in the boardroom. From the living room on one side you can go out to the large sun terrace, and on the other to enjoy the shade of the terrace above the former cistern.
Villa 117 can accommodate eight guests in its four bedrooms, and Villa 119 can accommodate six guests in its three bedrooms. In total, we can accommodate 14 guests.
Behind Villa Cangarela, you can go out on a large meadow suitable for walking or playing. For an additional fee, guests can use electric bicycles to explore the surroundings, wine cellars and good restaurants.
Villa Cangarela is ideal for people looking for peace and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You will be surprised by the silence of the night when you can hear only night birds and when you see the sky full of stars. The surrounding area is full of vineyards and olive groves. There are meadows and forests all around us. You can walk everywhere and enjoy the scenes of nature or the view of the not so distant open sea.
Out of season, in the period from November to March, in one of the Villas we can receive guests who can do their work away from the office and from their usual home. There is a good Internet connection in the whole complex that can enable such activities.
We enjoyed turning old stone houses into a beautiful, exclusive space. We believe that our
guests will also enjoy them. We are waiting for you in Košutići.
