And summer comes to an end

Dear friends,
We enjoyed every moment of this beautiful summer..
We had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people. Have interesting conversations with them (We hope we weren’t boring.).
We had plenty of sun, sometimes we had to hide from it.
Now those days are behind us. The days are shorter, cooler, we have strong morning dew, and the first fogs are appearing. Today it’s only +8° outside, there’s a strong southwest wind, and over 40 mm of rain has already fallen.
And that won’t last long, as we expect sunshine and pleasant temperatures again in a few days.
We will use this time for one of our biggest tasks – we are starting the olive harvest. We have prepared everything, tools, nets, oil barrels, agreed on who will come to help us… We will process the olives in a nearby oil mill, and we hope to have the oil ready for bottling and delivery by mid-November.
